In our current discourse around climate change, we often direct much of our focus towards deforestation. Important as that is, it's just one jigsaw piece in the colossal puzzle of environmental degradation. There's a whole spectrum of other contributors, such as energy production, industry operations, transportation, land usage, and agricultural practices. Each of these sectors have their unique set of CO₂ reduction targets to achieve. However, as emphasized by environmental experts, approaching these areas in isolation is not the answer. We need to consider the collective impact if we hope to make any real strides in amelioration.
